SimpleX works with your corporate accounting staff to analyze your financial statements and identify the appropriate taxonomy to use (IFRS, US-GAAP, I-GAAP) to perform a gap analysis for the creation of extension taxonomy elements.
The process begins with the use of SimpleXchange™, a secure portal that allows our clients to login, upload, and access various data and XBRL files. The portal employs state-of-the-art security standard for transferring information securely across the Internet. It encrypts data passed between the server and the browser so that unauthorized parties cannot intercept sensitive and confidential data. SimpleXchange™ ensures a reliable, secure data-transfer of sensitive financial information.
Once data is secured, we use Tagezee™, our proprietary XBRL 2.1-compliant spreadsheet-based tool to create an instance document, taxonomy extension, and visual validation of the instance document.
A Window on Your Data
With our spreadsheet based tool Tagaudit™, users can easily view, audit and validate the tags used, simply by mousing-over each cell of the sheet. Tagaudit™ combines XBRL technology with the power of spreadsheets and shows the original business label, element mapped to, the reporting period or context, dimension details, currency, precision, the reporting entity and other pertinent details that auditors and the SEC will need to audit the mappings.
Once your corporate accounting team has approved the final instance, SimpleX can safetly and securely submit your accounting data to the SEC and provide you with a record of receipt of that transmission. SimpleX is an approved EDGAR Filing Agent.
